Wonderful fabric
Great fabric and style. Runs very big. Consider sizing down. Would be nice to have belt or buttons. Nice long sleeves. Ordered next smaller size than I usually wear. Hope that works

Wanted It To Work
The material is elegant - soft and silky. It’s lightweight and would appear to travel well. The coat has potential, but I could not get over two problems in the fit for me. First, it’s huge. HUGE. I am 5’6 and 157 lbs. No one has ever described me as “small/petitie“ yet that size in this beautiful garment overwhelmed me. The sleeves came down to my knuckles and the length about 4 inched above my ankles. The sleeve length and length could have been adjusted, but there was just so much fabric in the coat itself.
The second problem for me was the cut. Notice in the picture that one side overlaps. It would have fell so much better with a snap, in my opinion. Due to the amount of fabric, it just sort of flopped open. The cut reminded me of a very nice bathrobe missing its tie.
I truly wanted this garment to work for me, but no tailoring could fix its problems.

Beautiful Piece
This trench coat is even all the more beautiful in person. The fabric is soft, fluid, sensuous, and truly flows like silk. I am 5' 3" and ordered the petite size even though I usually like to order the regular size to have a longer length. I am very glad to have the petite size because this is generously sized. Some of you might even want to size down. The style allows this to be worn indoors in cooler weather and also for outdoor use in warmer weather. The color Ocean is stunning in this gorgeous sueded fabric.
