The good:
High quality leather, soft while still being fairly thick and durable. Construction and fit and finish were perfect, no quality control issues, shoes were in perfect condition when I received them.
Very sleek look, and with the painted edges these things are super white, like almost too white. They look great after broken in and dirtied a bit.
Had them for about a month. Soles are holding up nicely and have good traction even though they changed to their own proprietary rubber not margom.
The bad/my personal dislikes:
Not much to dislike about the shoe just a couple issues for me.
These definitely run big. After they have stretched a bit I realized I could have gotten away with a full size down. With the leather topped insole there is some constant sliding/movement of my feet inside the shoe. Walking in these after a long day creates a lot of fatigue.
Would be great with a more snug fit without having to tie the laces so tight to compensate.
Could use more padding around the ankle. My right ankle rubs pretty badly but it could get better after a longer break-in period.
I wish the insole was more cushioned, softer. The insole feels great at first but could use more padding on the front of the foot, and flattens out quickly. Can obviously be fixed by just buying a better insole or orthotic.
Overall I really like the shoe. You can tell immediately these are high quality and well worth the price for a true Italian shoe that works great for any outfit.
